The s/w revision of your PM70 and your telephone modem can be found in the top of the diagnostic report (). A printed report can be stopped anytime by pressing the red Stop button .

SOFTWARE RELEASE R2A12 (RELEASE DATE 04.06.03)

The new software R2A12 is released and upgrades are available throughout Europe and can be downloaded from R2A12 s/w download.

The new features in software R2A12 gives you:

  • Longer delay added when asked for "PIN?" which enables certain operators like Orange to be found by the PCC.
  • Voice call diversion by using 61[phone number]2 is now supported with PCC.
  • Voice call duration: changed from OFF to ON by default.

and all updates and fixes in the previous software releases.

The new features in software R2A10 gives you:

  • Support for Possio Connectivity Card.
  • Support for GPRS Connectivity Card.
  • Support for Nokia 810.
  • Bugfix for Nokia 6090.
  • Minor bug fixes.

SOFTWARE RELEASE R1G (RELEASE DATE 02.07.15)

The earlier features in software R1G gives you:

  • Support for Nokia 6310 and 22.
  • Support for Siemens S45, MC35 and TC35.
  • Support for Sony Ericsson R520, T39 and T68.
  • New Function: Call Duration, prints a new line on the call receipt with a time indication.
  • Automatic power-down have been changed to a default value of 600 minutes.
  • Power mode have been changed from "travel mode" to "vehicle and travel mode" as default
SOFTWARE RELEASE R1F (RELEASE DATE 01.10.31)

SOFTWARE RELEASE R1B (RELEASE DATE 00.05.23)

The earlier features in software R1B gives you:

  • Support for Nokia Card Phone 2.0 (NCP2) with voice, fax and SMS.
  • Support for Nokia Card Phone 1.0 (NCP1) with fax and SMS.
  • Support for Nokia 6090 with fax and SMS over the serial cable.
  • Support for Nokia Communicator 9110 with fax and single SMS over the serial cable.
  • Support for Ericsson R320 with fax over the serial cable. SMS is not working.
  • Concatenates multiple SMS and prints it as one long message.
DO I NEED TO UPGRADE?

All software revisions that are older then R1D should be updated to R1G or to the recommended and latest released R2A10.

Examples of earlier s/w that should be upgraded:
* All s/w beginning with P, since P stands for Preliminary.
* All s/w ending with A, B or C, e.g. R1A06, R1B and R1C.

For all other software releases the following is valid:
- If your equipment works, no upgrade is necessary unless you need new features.
- If your equipment doesn't work, match your software release against the compability tables. If necessary upgrade your software to obtain desired functionality.
