Less than 30 days in -20°C to 50°C. Between 30 and 90 days -20°C to 40°C. More than 90 days in -20°C to 30°C. N.B. that the self-discharge of the battery will increase sharply in high temperatures, at +45°C the battery will loose up to 60% charge in three weeks.

Charging is automatically restricted to the range of 0°C to 40°C. At temperatures close to 40°C limit, charging will be prolonged. Operation below 0°C will reduce available battery capacity, while operation above 40°C will reduce the battery lifetime.

Operational between 0°C - 60°C and humidity between 20 - 90 Rh (%).

Direct exposure to very strong sunlight should be avoided, not only because of the heating effects, but also to avoid malfunction of the scanner sensor.

PM80's normal operating temperature is between 0°C and 40°C. Except for charging, it may however operate between less then -10°C and more than 40°C but performance in terms of printing quality, speed, and battery lifetime will be impaired.

PM80 is a battery-powered unit, and requires the battery to be at least partially charged for proper operation. Operation with a fully discharged battery is not guaranteed even if a proper charger is connected, as the charger cannot deliver the peak power demands of the motor, scanner or printhead.
