1. Make sure all connections are properly made like power cord, RJ-11 cord between SVEA and the fax machine and the internal antenna. The lid also has to be properly fastened or the unit will not function due to the tamper switch.

2. Make sure that the fax machine is connected to the Fax/modem connector.

3. Ensure that the SIM-card is inserted correctly and that fax service is activated. Disable the PIN code lock.

4. Check the GSM-reception. The LED for signal should be green to ensure the best faxing capabilities possible. The unit must be mounted in an upright position.
